The cost for 1 ton of sunflower according to the census at the elevator has reached 20,000 UAH.
The rise in prices is associated with an increase in the cost of sunflower oil in the world market and a shortage of oilseeds in the domestic market.
Sunflower sales from agricultural producers are very low. To a greater extent, sunflower enters the elevators for storage. According to agricultural producers, the upward trend will continue.
The last similar situation was observed in the last season 2020/2021, when the price increase reached UAH 25,000 / t of sunflower according to the census at elevators.
