What factors affect the purchase prices and sales of sunflower

First of all, the purchase prices for a given crop depend on the volume of production: a large harvest creates an excess supply, which affects its final price.

There is a clear pattern in the sale of sunflower: the cost of this oilseed in Ukraine is the highest from the new year until the beginning of summer, the decline occurs in late summer and early winter.  That is, the price of sunflower is high when the stocks on the market are decreasing, but when there are offers of a new crop, the price decreases.
