In order to expand the capabilities of “G.R. Agro” in the field of logistics in 2019 it was decided to build a terminal for transshipment of grain and oilseeds from road to water transport.
On 01.07.2020 the complex was put into test operation and on 03.08.2020 the first barge was shipped. After carrying out all commissioning works, the terminal operates continuously both for “G.R Agro”, own needs and for the needs of our partners.
To ensure maximum flexibility of the complex and the possibility of accumulating grain volumes with subsequent export to the terminal, the place for its construction was chosen 48 km from “Vilnohirsky Elevator” – one of the most modernized elevators of «G.R. Agro».
The terminal is located in the village. Borodaivka, Verkhnodniprovsky district, Dnipropetrovsk region.
The site is located outside the village, which allows round-the-clock work. It has a convenient access road from the H-08 highway, which can hold up to 40 vehicles.
The complex is equipped with car scales with a platform length of 18 meters and a carrying capacity of 80 tons.
The laboratory of the enterprise is fully equipped with everything necessary for basic analysis of grains and oilseeds, a software package to provide automated weighing and attachment of analysis cards without human intervention, which eliminates the risks of manipulation.
The laboratory is also equipped with a work area for representatives of surveyor companies.
Transshipment to river vessels is carried out from dump trucks with rear unloading. Nominal transshipment capacity is 350 tons / hour , load rate for water transport is 1000–1500 tons / day. Depth in the loading zone: 3.8–4.2 m. Length of the berth: 120 m.
For the convenience of our customers, the terminal also provides the following services:
- transshipment of grain and oilseeds at a single tariff: elevator – transportation to the terminal by road – transshipment from road to river transport;
- fleet chartering;
- organization of surveying support;
- reloading of the fleet going under-loaded from other terminals
- organization of transshipment from river water transport to sea water transport directly near the berth on the roads of Ukrainian ports.
